Andrew Walker, M.D.
Dr. Andrew Walker earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri, graduating magna cum laude. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society upon graduation. Dr. Walker completed his internship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL and his residency in radiation oncology at the Rush University Medical Center.
Dr. Walker's research in hematology and radiation oncology has been published in peer reviewed journals of each respective speciality, and he has presented research at the annual international meeting for radiation oncology. His research includes endeavors in stem cell transplantation, novel thoracic radiation techniques, oncologic biomarkers in early stage lung cancer and pancreatic cancer prognostication.
